Turn off Find My, sign out of your Apple Account and erase it. Anything still locked to your account cannot be resold, so we cannot buy it at any price.

How do I get cash for electronics in NYC?
Find your device on the price list below, call (212) 768-0044 to confirm we are buying it that day, then bring it to our counter at 30 West 47th Street, 8th Floor. We test it in front of you, agree on a number, take a copy of your photo ID, and pay you cash before you leave.
Do you pay cash, or a check?
Cash. Not store credit, not a gift card, not a prepaid debit card with fees attached, and not a check that clears in three days. That is the whole reason people walk to 47th Street instead of mailing a box to a warehouse.
Which electronics do you pay the most for?
Sealed, unlocked, current-generation Apple gear. Our top numbers right now are $2,700 on a MacBook, $1,900 on an iPhone and $1,280 on an iPad. Older or activated units come in lower, and the full list on this page shows exactly where each model lands.
Do you buy electronics other than Apple?
A short list: select Samsung Galaxy flagships, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. We are an Apple specialist, so everything else is a call-first situation. We would rather tell you no on the phone than have you carry it across Midtown.
Is there a minimum, or a maximum?
No minimum — bring one set of AirPods if that is what you have. No practical maximum either; we buy bulk lots and business fleet retirements regularly. Call ahead for ten units or more so we have the cash counted and a buyer free when you arrive.
Do you take electronics for recycling?
No. We buy devices that still have resale value. If an item is dead or obsolete we cannot take it off your hands, and we do not accept drop-offs for disposal.
What do I need to bring?
The device, the box and charger if you still have them, and a valid government-issued photo ID. New York City requires licensed secondhand dealers to record identification on every purchase, so there is no way around it. Sign out of your Apple Account and erase the device before you come in.
Are your prices negotiable?
The published list is what we pay for a device in the stated condition, so there is not much haggling on a standard unit. Condition, accessories, AppleCare coverage and bulk quantity are where a number can move.
