Back up, then sign out

Save your photos to iCloud or a computer first. Then turn off Find My iPhone and sign out of your Apple Account — an activation-locked phone cannot be resold, so we cannot buy it.

Check your carrier status

Under Settings › General › About, look for "No SIM restrictions." If your phone is still financed or carrier-locked, unlocking it first is usually worth more than the wait.

Bring the box and cable if you have them

Original packaging and an unused cable add real value on a recent model, especially anything still sealed.

How much is my iPhone worth in NYC?
Find your exact model and storage size in the table on this page — that is what we pay. The top payout right now is $1,900 for a sealed, unlocked iPhone 17 Pro Max 2TB. Storage matters more than most people expect: the same phone in 2TB versus 256GB can be several hundred dollars apart.
Do you buy iPhones with a cracked screen?
Yes, as long as it is an iPhone 11 or newer and the phone powers on. Cracked glass, a bad battery and cosmetic wear all reduce the payout below the sealed price on the list, but we still buy it. Bring it in and we will give you the number in a couple of minutes.
What is the difference between the sealed price and what I get?
The published price is for a sealed, unlocked, never-activated phone. An opened phone in clean condition comes in under that; an activated phone, a carrier-locked phone, or one with screen damage comes in lower again. We show you exactly how we got to the number before you agree to anything.
Do you buy carrier-locked iPhones?
We do, but at a reduced price. An unlocked phone sells to a far wider market, so it is always worth checking whether your carrier will unlock the device before you sell — most will once the phone is paid off, and it usually takes a couple of days.
Do I need to erase my iPhone first?
Yes. Turn off Find My iPhone, sign out of your Apple Account, then erase the phone under Settings › General › Transfer or Reset iPhone. A phone still signed in to your account is activation-locked and worthless to a buyer. Back up your photos first — once it is erased, it is gone.
Do you buy iPhone 10, X or older?
No. We only buy iPhone 11 and newer. Older models do not hold enough resale value in the Manhattan market to be worth counter space.
Can I sell several iPhones at once?
Yes, and we buy bulk lots regularly. Call (212) 768-0044 before you come in with ten or more units so we can have the cash ready and give you a lot price rather than pricing each phone individually.
How fast do I get paid?
Same visit. We test, we agree on a number, you show a valid photo ID, and you get cash. Most single-phone sales take under five minutes.
